1. Clean and dry affected area. Remove the plastic back-ing from one side of the pain patch.
2. Put the smooth side over the area where you would like to get pain relief.
3. Effective for up to 8 hours.
4. To avoid pulling your skin when tearing off the patch, it is recommended that you apply a hot towel to the patch for 2-3 minutes and then tear it off. Or, wet the patch with warm water and tear it off slowly.
1.What is capsicum plaster hot?
The Capsicum Heat Plaster induces warmth around the affected area by Ayurvedic means using Capsaicin extracts (which is the active component found in chili peppers). The heat from this plaster provides relief from conditions like arthritis, fibrositis and lumbago.
2.How long can we wear capsicum plaster?
Leave the patch in place for at least 60 minutes for postherpetic neuralgia or 30 minutes for diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Do not touch the patch while it is on your skin. Your doctor may also cover the treatment area with a rolled gauze or dressing to keep the patch in place.
3.How do capsicum patches work
CAPSAICIN (cap SAY sin) relieves minor pain in your muscles and joints. It works by making your skin feel warm or cool, which blocks pain signals going to the brain. This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.
